the actual halo of the sun is taken from the silent hill video game series. Its used as a save point in the third game.

i was really just gonna get it done on my right shoulder blade. but they told me to get that much deatail in and in red (which bleeds wider than balck) i would have to get it bigger. so i decided to get it to take up most of my back

Woah XD beautiful.... ( Sorry, i was plannig to get the same, but in the lower part of the back, hope you won't curse me for ''copying'' or something XD I just love silent hill) Anyhow, thumbs up, you've got guts for a first tatoo, its so big :P My first tatoo was a lot smaller XD
